Historical surfaces crafted at nights keep the legacy alive.
That is how the passion of engraving was given from the old ones to me and further, from the need to create with any instrument until I got to the most precious
– the hand.
In the digital age hand engraving is disappearing while its value increases.
Going back thousands of years and being ones of the oldest forms of human expression it still remains relevant today. Paradoxically the modern machines that were meant to replace hand engraving are the ones that outline its value.
I believe in reinvented tradition that shapes and ultimately defines human character.
The engraving becomes the master – the person is transformed into student.
Every one of us does what is in its responsibility. I take it upon myself the task of igniting the passion I feel for hand engraving to further generations.
